about Brentwood Park.

Welcome to Friends of Brentwood Park
While Brentwood Park is a city park with regular basic maintenance, the wonderful facilities we all enjoy today were once project ideas spearheaded by neighbors. Going back to the 1950’s, neighbors have rallied to plan, fundraise, and coordinate projects with the city. The work continues today and our stewardship is needed more than ever so that Brentwood Park continues to serve our two growing neighborhoods.
See what we are working on lately.
As gardeners know, planting times in Austin are limited. Right now, new Garden Club members are giving the Welcome Bed a pollinator-friendly makeover. Want to join or support us?
Be a part of Brentwood Park history.
The history of Brentwood Park isn’t “back then.” It’s made every day when neighbors work together to ensure the park not only survives but thrives. In turn, our little nine-acre park does the same for us.
Show some love to our green spaces.
The Austin Parks Foundation is our primary partner for park projects, and their work is crucial to helping Austin maintain and improve city parks. People + Parks!
