2017 | Playground Improvement Project
Brentwood and Crestview parents formed a Playground Improvement sub-committee under the Friends of Brentwood Park adoptee group to begin working on improving the existing park playground equipment. The sub-committee is coordinating with neighbors, Violet Crown Community Works, and the Crestview and Brentwood neighborhood associations. All projects will be submitted to approved by the Austin Parks Foundation in conjunction with the Parks and Recreation Department. This project will take several years, significant fundraising, and plenty of persistence and patience. Current information can be found on their Brentwood Park Playground Project website.
