2019 | Dave Shulder Memorial Tree

Dave Shulder was a longtime FOBP volunteer, neighborhood gardener, and all around great guy. Sadly, Dave passed away at his home on Barbara Street on November 4th, 2019, just two days after leading the volleyball court project for It’s My Park Day. Dave and his friends had a regular game at the volleyball court and he took great care to keep it maintained.

A celebration of life was held among the grove of trees near the eastern edge of Brentwood Park on November 10th, and a Texas Ash was planted in a Waterboxx in Dave’s honor along Yates just behind the ballfields benches.

We will miss you, Dave. Your kindness and generosity, your “digs” to share plants, and your contributions to Crestview and to Brentwood Park.
